Gasthaus zum Zinnkrug in Bodman-Ludwigshafen

On the return journey from Salzburg on October 17th, 2020 called a little later to reserve two seats, it worked at short notice, we were politely welcomed at 9 p.m. and welcomed with two steak dishes, the meat quality of which was also excellent. First of all I would like to mention that it is two stars because the service was very friendly! And without this we were also somewhat satisfied! We were there at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday and had booked a table for four too! Table was free everything was good! The card was only brought to us after we asked! And we also had to wait a good twenty minutes for the drinks! We ordered our food straight away, as we had a premonition of what was going on in this shop! There was often a strong, blonde lady standing around! And also in my opinion, the cook often sat on the terrace and smoked one, where he also chatted with the regular customers! In the time we were there, four times! We waited a good hour for our food! I would rather wait for my food than have it on the table after ten minutes! O. K. So far so good! We all had rump steak at the table. Which was ordered from everyone at our table, "Medium"! So it would have been medium at some point! When it comes to our table it certainly can't! The consistency of the meat was like rubber and it was even tough! My wife didn't eat her steak, I ate half and our companion only half! Well, I've already eaten cheaper, but something like this has never happened to me! That was the last! Every neck steak from the discounter can do more! It's a shame! And not bad for a price of 20 €! With drinks we had a bill of € 70! Ergo: paid in full despite complaint! Can be done, but not like that! Was the first and last time!

Very friendly service, steak inside raw - was given again in the kitchen, but not much better, sauces were good, the rest was ok. The device for card payment was defective, which unfortunately we were only told when we wanted to pay by card, you could have said right away

Food is great. For me the best rump steak in Ludwigshafen. Prices are OK for the meat, the side dishes a bit more expensive. Only the atmosphere on site doesn't quite fit into the holiday flair, therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

Zum Zinnkrug is on Lake Constance, we came by accident. The food was really delicious and also good portions. Parking spaces are not far away. The staff was really nice.

We had reserved. When we arrived there was unfortunately no table available. So we waited 15 minutes at the door. When we were sitting at the table, nobody came to take an order for another 15 minutes. So we went again. I remembered the tin jug better.

Cozy pub with delicious food. Super friendly staff serving huge portions at reasonable prices! We liked to eat and drink there very well and they cook with love. Ehr Highly recommended 👍

You feel very comfortable. The preparation of the food did not take long, there were 8 of us. The food was delicious, very fresh and cooked and cooked to the point. The calamari, the schnitzel and a lamb chop - we tried the menu all over you and it was all very, very tasty and homemade !!! Zaziki - is a must!

We had been there twice during our vacation. We were very satisfied. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food is very good and the staff is super friendly. We'll see each other again on our next Lake Constance vacation!

We were very happy here. The food was well prepared and the portions more than sufficient. The staff is very nice, accommodating and incredibly child-friendly. A visit is definitely worth it!

We had dinner with five people on Sunday. Three of us had the rump steak. In short, none of us have ever seen such an under-steak. It was not edible and went back to everyone. There was no excuse and the full price was charged. Too bad he will no longer see us in his local.

Stunning steaks! We were skeptical about the reopening but are very positively surprised and express our unqualified recommendation for this type of gastronomy. Friendly, accommodating, fast and not least a culinary delight. Always happy again, thank you for this nice evening.

Nice atmosphere and fast service. The steaks are delicious and fried to the point. Great selection of side dishes. Have so far only spaetzle had what delicious and definitely fresh and made themselves. Unfortunately, this is becoming increasingly rare. Can highly recommend the restaurant.

We have eaten here with a group of 6, inside (they also have a nice terrace, but not for 6 when busy), good quality german food, friendly service, nice beers and they made a non alcoholic radler beer for one of my teen children from scratch, good service by family owned business. Recommended.

Highly recommended, the service was very open-minded and friendly, with starter and main course we were 1.5 hours because it went quite briskly the portions are very large and reasonable for the price. The food is delicious and above all warm. The inn is relatively small and apparently very popular, at least 15 guests had to be comforted in the 1.5 hours. A reservation is therefore recommended. Otherwise a nice room where you like to drink your 1-2 beers and eat comfortably. We would love to come back again. ☺️
